Proyecto de Lombricultura del L.B.F.R.D.
Se
basa fundamentalmente en la cría de lombrices en cautiverio
alimentándose material orgánico. Este
tipo de material se recolecta en las comunidades y en la institución
conjuntamente con el representante abocándose a la
colaboración de desechos este valioso producto es muy importante y beneficioso tanto para el planeta tierra, cultivos
intensivo y todo tipo de plantas.
Nuestro objetivo general es sensibilizar a los estudiantes de 5to año a través del manejo de desechos orgánicos para la adquisición de abono sólido y líquido en la Lombricultura. A través de este valioso producto se puede comercializar dentro y fuera de la comunidad estudiantil y comunidades aledañas. Además, buscar la autogestión para nuestra institución.
Vermiculture Project of L.B.F.R.D.
It is mainly based on the breeding of worms in
captivity feeding on organic material. This type of material is collected in
the communities and in the institution together with the representative, which
is dedicated to the collaboration of waste. This valuable product is very
important and beneficial for the planet earth, intensive crops and all types of
plants.
Our general objective is to sensitize 5th year
students through the management of organic waste for the acquisition of solid
and liquid fertilizer in vermiculture. Through this valuable product can be
marketed within and outside the student community and surrounding communities.
In addition, we seek self-management for our institution.

El 15 de septiembre de 1949 por decreto del ministerio de Educación, fue creado este plantel funcionando primero como liceo, Unidad educativa. Después como Ciclo básico, actualmente como Escuela Básica.
El Liceo Tovareño se inició en un depósito de café.

El 23
de enero de 1958, es derrocado el general Marcos Pérez Jiménez, el pueblo
venezolano puede exigir por las soluciones de sus necesidades colectivas, cloacas, agua potable,
hospitales, escuelas, liceos, campos deportivos y muchas fuentes de trabajo.
Los tovareños volvieron a ser exigentes; un centro de salud, un edificio para el liceo y un stadium.Estudiantes, profesores, periodistas y pueblo en general directa e indirectamente sumaron voluntades nuevamente para interesar al gobierno de transición en la consecución del edificio para el liceo Félix Román Duque.
Para la
segunda quincena de octubre de 1958, siendo ministro de educación el Dr. Rafael
Pizani, surgió una comisión integrada por el entonces director Marcial
Rodríguez, Ana Josefa Duarte de Altuve, Cristina Ruiz de Miro, Luis Raúl Rodríguez,
Luis Altuve Valbuena y el estudiante
Héctor Rodríguez cuyo propósitos era solicitar la construcción del edificio y
la apertura del cuarto año en ciencias y humanidades.
A esta
iniciativa se unió el Club Social y Deportivo Mocotíes entre las cuales había
algunos interesados en la reapertura del Liceo Nocturno quienes también se
solidarizaron con la noble causa: Eudoro López Gavidia, Nemesio Gutiérrez, José
Enrrique Granados, Mario Marquina, solicitaron entrevista con el Ministro
Pizani y el Dr. Rafael Gallegos Ortiz, quien para la época ejerció también
importante cargo en el despacho. En un año electoral, quizá se logró poco, pues
habría que esperar por la consolidación del nuevo gobierno constitucional, pero
allí en el despacho estarán las cartas del petitorio tovareño.
Mientras
tanto las páginas amarillas de la revista Renacimiento, recordaban la necesidad
de la construcción de un edificio para el liceo era el mes de marzo de 1953,
cuando Jesús M. Contreras Méndez escribió: “Desde hace varios años está
funcionando en esta ciudad el que en un comienzo se llamara “Colegio Federal”
hoy Liceo Bolivariano “Félix Román Duque” , el cual para el desengaño no solo
del buen tovareño sino del individuo que sabe apreciar lo que significa
cualquier obra que vaya en beneficio de una colectividad, como también los
problemas que la afligen, no cuenta sino con un vieja casona que en otra( hasta
que mudaron el liceo para allá) fuera depósito de café y asiento de bestias y
mulas.
No fue
extraño para los primeros alumnos y profesores feliduquenses añorar el viejo
patio de ladrillo quemado, donde las bestias descansaron en los corredores
mientras el café se secaba con el sol.

School.

On January 23, 1958, General Marcos Perez Jimenez was overthrown;
the Venezuelan people could demand solutions to their collective needs, sewers,
drinking water, hospitals, schools, high schools, sports fields and many
sources of work.
The tovareños were once again demanding; a health
center, a building for the high school and a stadium. Students, teachers,
journalists and people in general directly and indirectly joined forces again
to interest the transition government in the achievement of the building for
the Félix Román Duque high school.
In the second half of October 1958, when Dr. Rafael
Pizani was Minister of Education, a commission was formed by the then Director
Marcial Rodríguez, Ana Josefa Duarte de Altuve, Cristina Ruiz de Miro, Luis
Raúl Rodríguez, Luis Altuve Valbuena and the student Héctor Rodríguez, whose
purposes were to request the construction of the building and the opening of
the fourth year in sciences and humanities.
The Mocotíes Social and Sports Club joined this
initiative, among which there were some interested in the reopening of the
Liceo Nocturno who also supported the noble cause: Eudoro López Gavidia,
Nemesio Gutiérrez, José Enrrique Granados, Mario Marquina, requested an
interview with Minister Pizani and Dr. Rafael Gallegos Ortiz;who at that time
also held an important position in the office. In an electoral year, perhaps
little was achieved, since it would be necessary to wait for the consolidation
of the new constitutional government, but the letters of the Tovareño petition will be there in the office.
However, the yellow pages of the magazine
Renacimiento, recalled the need for the construction of a building for the high
school in the month of March 1953, when Jesús M. Contreras Méndez wrote:
"Since several years ago it has been functioning in this city what in the
beginning was called "Colegio Federal" today Liceo Bolivariano
"Félix Román Duque", which to the disappointment not only of the good
tovareño but also of the individual who knows how to appreciate what any work
that benefits a community means, as well as the problems that afflict it, only
has an old house that in another (until they moved the high school there) was a
coffee warehouse and a place for mules and beasts.
It was not strange for early feliduquense students and
teachers missed to the old burnt brick
courtyard, where the beasts rested in the corridors while the coffee dried in
the sun.

La
Banda Seca / Show Gral. José María Méndez, ya no le pertenece solo al Liceo
Bolivariano Félix Román Duque, sino que es patrimonio del municipio Tovar, por
su intensa actividad musical sin importar la época del año”. Cuando el Prof.
Mario Valero, Fundador y primer director de esta organización musical en el año
1979; pudo consolidar este sueño de una colectividad estudiantil y comunitaria,
nunca imagino que se iba a fortalecer y perdurar durante tanto tiempo. Sin duda
alguna, la Banda Show ha marcado un hito importante en el acervo cultural y
musical en todo el Valle del Mocotíes.
Ese
grupo de estudiantes que inicio esta travesía, labro en un campo difícil, pero
lograron obtener muchos éxitos y satisfacciones, no solo para los integrantes
sino para una ciudad donde constantemente se produce la organización de actividades colectivas de todo tipo que
fortalecer el acervo cultural del Valle del Mocoties.
Con la
llegada del Lcdo. Juan Ramón Suarez en el año 1984,-insigne, músico, escritor,
maestro, y ferviente luchador cultural tovareño, se inicia una nueva etapa en
la Banda Show, que la consolida como la mejor y más constante de todo el
municipio Tovar.
Durante
22 años de labor ininterrumpida, el Lcdo. Juan Ramón Suarez lucho con un grupo
de adolescente y jóvenes entre los que destacan : Jhoanny Parra, Rolando
Pereira, Dixon Soto, Los morochos Parra, Yohana Pereira, Darwins Izarra, James Dávila,
Richard Dávila, Marinelly Ramírez, Carlos Pino, Kimberlyn Flores, entre muchos
otros, quienes lograron llevar a la cúspide a este movimiento musical que hizo
su metamorfosis de banda marcial a Banda Show deleitando a toda la comunidad
con sus arreglos musicales, y las coreografías de un grupo de féminas, que
asombra a propios y extraños con sus movimientos y bailes acompañados con las
interpretaciones musicales.
Desde
el año 2007, esta institución armónica, es asumida por el Lic. Cherry Zambrano,
quien viene a brindar nuevas ideas y produce mayor apertura y participación. Se
profundiza la participación de niñas y niños adolescentes y jóvenes, no solo
del Liceo Bolivariano Feliz Román Duque sino que también se da la presencia
nacida de otras instituciones del Tovar (E.B. Coronel A. Rangel; E.B. Monseñor
Chacón, Colegio Fe y Alegría, Colegio la Presentación, Liceo Nuceti Sardi, U.E.
Adultos por Radio, L.B. Eutimio Rivas-Municipio Antonio Pinto Salinas, E.B. Monseñor
Moreno, ULA, UNEFA, entre otras).
La
fusión de jóvenes con experiencia y la presencia de nuevos talentos, está
haciendo que se logre forjar un movimiento musical que realzara la tovareñidad
en todo el Estado y cada vez sea más intensa la presencia de la Banda Show en
todos los espacios culturales, deportivos, educativos, como religiosas y
sociales de nuestro terruño Tovar. Los municipios adyacentes, zona del Sur del
Lago y Norte del Edo. Táchira.
La
Banda Show General José María Méndez, también se ha convertido en una
institución Escuela, ya que ha fomentado la creación de otras bandas musicales,
como la Banda Show del Rio Negro de la parroquia Rio Negro del municipio
Guaraque, quienes han contado con la presencia de varios integrantes de la banda
de Tovar para consolidar un sueño grande de los pueblos del Sur merideño, la
creación de una institución que amenice las actividades culturales organizada
en esta bella región del estado Mérida; y algunos de los ex integrantes ahora
son directores de otros bandas del municipio del estado , o forman parte de
agrupaciones musicales, bailables de gran popularidad entre la comunidad.
A
través de los años, esta organización musical ha recibido donaciones
económicas, así como de instrumentos
musicales tanto de entes gubernamentales como casas comerciales de Tovar, a
todos ellos muchas gracias por convertir esta banda en una verdadera Banda
Show, siendo actualmente un Patrimonio
Musical del municipio Tovar.

The Banda Seca / Banda Show Gral. José María Méndez belongs not
only to the Liceo Bolivariano Félix Román Duque but also it is a heritage of
the municipality of Tovar for its intense musical activity regardless of the
time of the year. When Prof. Mario Valero, founder and first director of this
musical organization in 1979, was able to consolidate this dream of a student
and community collective, he never imagined that it would grow stronger and
last for so long. Undoubtedly, the Show Band has marked an important milestone
in the cultural and musical heritage of the entire Mocotíes Valley.
This group of students started this journey with many
difficulties, but managed to achieve many successes and satisfactions, not only
for the members but also for a city where constantly occurs the organization of
collective activities of all kinds that strengthen the cultural heritage of the
Mocoties Valley.
With the arrival of Juan Ramón Suárez in 1984, an outstanding musician, writer, teacher and fervent cultural fighter from Tovar, a new stage began in the Banda Show, consolidating it as the best and most constant in the municipality of Tovar. During 22 years of uninterrupted work, he fought with a group of teenagers and young people such as stand out : Jhoanny Parra, Rolando Pereira, Dixon Soto, Los Morochos Parra, Yohana Pereira, Darwins Izarra, James Davila, Richard Davila, Marinelly Ramirez, Carlos Pino, Kimberlyn Flores, among others, who managed to bring to the top this musical movement that made its metamorphosis from martial band to Show Band delighting the entire community with their musical arrangements, and the choreography of a group of women, which amazes friends and strangers with their movements and their dances accompanied with the musical interpretations.
Since 2007, this harmonious institution was under the
direction of Mr. Cherry Zambrano, who came to bring new ideas and produces
greater openness and participation. The participation of children, adolescents
and young people deepens not only from the Liceo Bolivariano Feliz Román Duque
but also from other institutions of Tovar such as E.B. Coronel A. Rangel; E.B.
Monseñor Chacón, Colegio Fe y Alegría, Colegio la Presentación, Liceo Nuceti
Sardi, U.E. Adultos por Radio, L.B. Eutimio Rivas-Municipio Antonio Pinto
Salinas, E.B. Monseñor Moreno, ULA, UNEFA, among others.
The fusion of young people with experience and the presence
of new talents is making possible to forge a musical movement that it will
enhance the tovareñidad throughout the state and it is increasingly intense the
presence of the Band Show in all cultural, sporting, educational, religious and
social spaces of our homeland Tovar, the adjacent municipalities, area of South
Lake and North of Táchira State.
The Banda Show General José María Méndez has also
become a school institution, since it has encouraged the creation of other musical
bands such as Banda Show de el Rio Negro in the municipality of Guaraque, who
have counted with the presence of several members of the Tovar band to
consolidate a big dream of the people of the South of Merida that is the
creation of an institution that entertains the cultural activities organized in
this beautiful region of Merida state; and some of the former members are now
directors of other bands in the municipality of the state or they are part of
musical groups, dances of great popularity among the community.
Throughout the years, this musical organization has
received economic donations, as well as musical instruments from both
governmental entities and commercial stores of Tovar. Thanks them for turning
this band into a real Show Band, being currently it a Musical Heritage of the
municipality Tovar.
